We have 3 options for ED visas:
1. Sport ED visa for 6 months or 9 months with updates visa stamp every 3 months.
2. Language study visa with a Thai licensed language school for 1 year (maximum 12 months from last entry stamp!) with updates every 3 months.
3. Language ED visa with a Thai university for 12/15 months. ED visas with Thai universities have a high credit rating and allow you to travel. With this visa the students not need make update stamp every 3 months, need only doing 90 days report on the immigration or online.
The process for applying for a study visa with a private language school:
1. Come to our office with your passport (first page with photo and all visa pages) with valid visa or entry stamp over 25 days, photo, address documents and payment for the first 3 months.
2. Wait for us to check your passport and prepare the documents than you will sign documents and after we will take you to school for take pictures in school and immigration.
3. Wait for the visa. After 4-5 weeks, you will get your passport back with the visa for first 3 months. After that, you will have to come every 3 months to office sign the documents and then to Pattaya immigration to take a picture for the visa update.
The process for applying for an ED visa with a Thai university or government language school:
We have more schools and immigration offices where we can apply for you ED visa.
Every school and immigration office has slightly different terms and conditions depending on your documents. If your current visa is a NON-O or NON-B, you will get a 12-month visa.
If your current visa is a tourist visa or visa exemption, you will get a NON-O visa for 3 months + an ED visa for 12 months.
We will need your passport and address. You will have to go to immigration to take a picture once (some nationality 2times) for 12 months or 1-2 times for 3+12 months. The place where you will have to go depends on which school will apply for your visa. For more information, contact us!
We will check your passport (page with photo and visa pages) and then tell you the options and prices available for you.
The process for applying for a sport study visa:
1. Come to our office with your passport and payment (there is only one full payment).
2. Fill out the application form (we will send you an online form).
3. Wait for us to complete the documents (about 2-5 days) and after that we will take you to the school sign the documents.
4. Wait for approval from the Ministry of Education (about 7 days).
5. Go to immigration to take a picture.
6. Wait for the visa. After 4-5 weeks, you will get your passport back with the visa for first 3 months. After that, you will have to every 3 months to sign the documents and come Pattaya immigration to take a picture for the visa update.
Required documents for applying for a study or sport ED visa:
1. Original passport with at least 25-32 days (depend school) before your current visa expires.
2. Rental contract at least 6 months
3. Documents from the owner of the room/condo or house:
- Lease Agreement in the name of the owner.
- Copy of the room rental house book (House Register, Tabianbaan).
- Copy of the house/apartment ownership certificate (2-page Chanot/title deed copy).
- Copy of the owner's ID card and copy of the owner's house book. If the foreigner's name is on the lease agreement, copy of the passport. If the company name is on the lease agreement, copy of the company register.
